A older post I carried over. I really dont like winter too much. There are some things about it that are cool but it just carries on too long. Spring would be nice but we dont have much of a Spring here in KS. It just seems to rain everyday for a month and then summer comes. Fall is my favorite season. The weather (for the most part) is perfect! It not too hot and not too cold. The leaves turn colors and the mosquito's go away. The kids are going back to school and I see them in their cute little outfits with their mini backpacks as I wait at the light for them to cross the street and walk into school. I love riding my horse or just taking a long walk alone on our land. Its so peaceful and the wind feels good. The colors of fall are so beautiful! Its also fun to go shopping for new fall and winter clothes. Soft and comfty new sweaters. When it rains is makes me want to go home and sit be the window with a cup of tea and a good book. Which brings up memories of me when I was little and the books I remember reading. I used to love reading Beatrice potter books (my favorite), the American girl collection, little women, the black stallion, and poetry. Its the season of my Birthday, thanksgiving, and the preparation for Christmas. Sunsets come sooner and the days fly by faster. Fall is so great, I love it! Ofcourse Summer is up next and I am just as exited for that. Im sure I will be writing a post on Summer...:)
