What to put on in your mind

Finally brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Here is a picture I took of my school:

Crate & Barrel is on the bottom 3 floors and then FIDM has the top 5 floors. There are different entrances for each though and you have to have a school id or visitor badge to come in the FIDM entrance. To the right of us is Macy's and then it goes into the famous "Union Square". To the left of us is Armani. I wish I could have taken pictures of the inside (well I guess I could have but I didn't want to) so you could see. The library is really cool looking and you can walk out onto a balcony and do your homework outside if you like. I'm sure I will share alot more later on when I actually start school.

My Trip There...

I drove from Wichita to Albuquerque and stayed with a friend of the family, Melinda and her husband Jerry. It was so nice of them to have me stay in their home. They took me out to dinner and showed me around a little bit afterwards. I stayed in their guest bed room and got to use the guest bath which had just been remodeled. I thought it was beautiful and very southwestern. I loved it and took pictures:

Then I hit the sack for a long day of driving was going to come very soon. As I was leaving the next morning I took a picture of Melinda's house. I like the look of the southwestern homes in New Mexico, they are very neat looking. Although this picture does not do her house justice because its pretty dark.

The following pictures are all from my second day of driving from New Mexico to California. I don't remember specifically where at each of these pictures were taken. It was just such a pretty drive on my second day. I needed to make good time so I couldn't really stop anywhere except for lunch and then to get gas and go potty so most of the pictures are taken from my phone in the car. That's why most of them may be blurry or crooked. It was interesting eating lunch that day because I had never eaten at a sit down restaurant by myself before to eat. It was weird but it was ok. The whole experience was pretty cool actually because the farthest I have driven from Wichita by myself was to Kansas City so this was a little scary for me I will admit. I wanted to do it by myself though...and I did. I actually enjoyed the drive. Now on my 3rd day of driving I was definitely happy to finally get there...my back was starting to really hurt. So anyway, here are the pictures from my trip:

DONT LOOK BACK! OK well maybe just once...Lol. I thought these pic was cool that I took of the mountains in my rearview mirrir.
